The idea of this section is to help all new-comers and existing players alike.
We have been gambling at online casinos since 2001 and have learnt a lot of things on the way. On this page you will get a good idea of the vital things you need to know if you're a beginner or if you just need a better understanding of online casinos and terminology.
Sometimes it can be very hard to know if you are using good, honest & trustworthy casinos... Luckily for you, we only list casinos that we trust and so we know you will be in safe hands.
If this is your first time considering trying online gambling, there are a few things you must make sure you do.
Most important you must read the T&C of the casinos you want to play, as different casinos have different bonus structures also their rules and regulations vary from one casino to the next.
Also understanding terminology is important, as when you know exactly what you're reading it makes things easier and safer.

Commonly used Terminology and their Meanings
NDB
No-Deposit Bonus: a free chip given by a casino for you to try their games risk free, but you will still have a chance of making real money and cashing out.
Normally you are only asked for minimal information (i.e name and email). They will require more details if you win and want to cash out.
WR
Wagering Requirements: when you take a bonus , this is the amount you usually need to bet before you can cash out. This involves wagering a set amount on specified games e.g if you played 100 spins @ $1 per spin you will have wagered $100 towards your WR, regardless on whether you won or lost during those spins.
D, B & D+B
This is used in conjuction with WR, and is how you work out how much you need to wager
D = Deposit
B = Bonus chips
D+B = Deposit & Bonus chips (added together)
CASHABLE
Cashable Bonus: as soon as you complete the WR for your bonus you can cash out everything - your deposit + the bonus chips (converted to cash when you meet WR) + Winnings.
PHANTOM
Phantom Bonus: when you have completed the WR for your bonus and make your first withdrawl request, the amount of the original bonus is deducted from your account.
i.e. you can only cash out deposit + winnings and NOT the bonus chips.
SOFTWARE
This is a general term used, which actually means the Games Provider - the companies who produce the casino games.
e.g. RTG (Real-Time Gaming), Rival Gaming etc...
It is important to know which software each casino has so you get to know which ones have the games you prefer to play - because we all end up with our favourites!
NEWBIES FAQ's
Never played an online casino before? Please read these VITAL things you need to know:
Is it safe?
All the casinos listed on this website are 100% safe and secure. We have personally vetted each one to ensure they meet the best standards online.
Any information you supply them is totally confidential. We have personally played at over 280 different casinos since 2001 and never had any problems at any one of
these casinos.
When you win and cash-out – you WILL get paid. (If no T&Cs were broken).
Are the games fair?
Absolutely yes. We only list casinos whose games have been fully tested and audited by 3rd party regulators. All games are run from a true RNG which means, for
example, card games and roulette play exactly the same as they would in a real casino.
The slots and pokies are also 100% random and have pay-outs typically in the 95%-97% range, which is MUCH better than you’ll find in games arcades and real casinos! (Typically these are set to 80% -
90%)
Bonuses – what’s the catch?
Just about all casinos offer fairly large bonuses to tempt you to give them a try.
The only “catch” is that you have to meet the specified Wagering Requirements (WR) before you are allowed to cash-out anything (including your deposit).
Bonuses are usually one of 2 types: Cashable or Phantom. See table above for definitions.
Bonuses – Which games count towards WR?
It's very important that you read the terms for EACH bonus at EACH casino, because they can vary.
At most casinos we list, only Slots games (pokies) count at 100% towards WR. Even then there can be some exclusions, like Progressive Jackpot pokies, for example.
Typically table games (Roulette, Blackjack, Craps, etc.) and Video Poker count at much lower percentages, normally from 5% - 25%.
e.g. If you played Blackjack @ 10%, you would have to wager 10 TIMES as much as on pokies!
Some games must NOT be played at all with a bonus in your account - check those terms!
What about all those T&Cs?
Like all responsible businesses, online casinos have to have Terms & Conditions to protect themselves from fraud and abuse.
It is ABSOLUTELY VITAL that you read ALL the T&Cs connected to any bonuses you take to ensure you comply with the rules. Failure to do so could result in the loss of your bonus and
winnings.
Also it is wise to check the General T&Cs for these key points:
Are you allowed to play from the state or country you live in?
(Most casinos listed on this site CAN be played from anywhere. When you sign-up you will find a list of accepted countries)
Are there any maximum bet limits while using bonuses?
(Might not be in bonus terms)
By what method can you deposit into the casino?
(Typically Credit Cards or BitCoin. Check with each casino to see what your deposit options are)
By what method will you be able to withdraw?
(This is not always the same way you deposit...)
How long will my withdrawal take?
(Can be anything from instant to 2-3 days for verified accounts, depending on method of withdrawal)
How old must I be to play?
You must be at least 18-years old to play at any online casino listed on this site.
Will I have to supply I.D. documents?
Yes, you will.
Because of the delay it would cause, most casinos do not ask for ID before you deposit – the vast majority will only ask when you come to withdraw.
You will usually be asked to supply the following:
For this reason, it is VITAL that you only supply 100% correct personal information when you sign-up – if anything is found to be false when you come to cash-out, it
is very likely that your winnings will be confiscated.
Banking:
Methods of getting money in to & out of online casinos varies from one casino to the next.
Always research your deposit and particularly your withdrawal options BEFORE you start playing at any casino to avoid any unpleasant surprises when
you come to cash-out.
Most of the casinos we list on this site only accept deposits by Credit Cards (Visa & Mastercard) and BitCoin.
Withdrawals can NOT usually be made back to credit cards - you may have to use bank wires or Bitcoin.
